Minnow Films was founded in 2006 by documentary filmmaker Morgan Matthews. After directing many critically acclaimed programmes for BBC2, BBC4 and Channel 4, Morgan set up the company with the simple aspiration to continue to develop and produce intelligent documentaries of the highest quality.

As a small independent production company, Minnow is able to maintain its focus on producing ground breaking, innovative work that is at the cutting edge of documentary making. Minnow is committed to producing evocative and powerful films that reflect our constantly evolving society whilst continuing to surprise, enthral and entertain at every turn.

Distinctive in their style and form, Minnow is continuing to produce Morgan’s films alongside exciting projects with both new and established filmmakers for the major broadcasters.
