Jo joined Minnow in Summer 2007 to develop The Trouble With Girls series and landmark feature-length documentary The Fallen for BBC2. Jo went on to win a place on the BBC’s New Director scheme “Fresh” where she directed her first film, Jamelia: Whose Hair Is It Anyway? for BBC3, and soon landed her second directing role on the critically acclaimed observational documentary The Trouble With Girls: Jailbirds.

Whilst at Minnow, Jo has also produced the second film in the series, Three Girls and Three Babies directed by Morgan Matthews, and the powerful follow-up for award-winning The Fallen, The Fallen: Legacy of Iraq, which was broadcast on BBC4 to coincide with the withdrawal of British troops from Iraq.

Jo is currently developing a number of projects with Minnow.
