Phoenix House is a treatment centre for some of societies most afflicted drug addicts. Many residents are serial offenders, sent there by the courts as an alternative to prison, they face lengthy jail sentences should they fail the programme. Quitters follows a group of Phoenix House residents through their six-month programme as they experience the therapeutic process and battle with their addictions and face up to the past experiences many have been trying to block out.
